The Skycrest Neighborhood
At Skycrest UMC, we are deeply committed to serving our community through various mission projects and partnerships. We partner with the Skycrest Neighborhood Association to serve and uplift our community. Together, we strive to make a positive impact by addressing local needs and providing support to those in need. Throughout the year we host events such as pet blessings and bike rodeos to foster connection in our community.
Opportunities For Service.
Local Mission Trip - Participate in several local service projects over a weekend. All while being intentional about building more relationships between members of our own church family and the community. This opportunity happens twice a year. Residing Hope - Formally called the United Methodist Children’s Home, there are multiple ways to support this organization throughout the year. Pay attention to our communications to get involved!
Donation Drives - Throughout the year we host drives such as Drop (Off) Your Drawers drive for Clothes to Kids, school supply drives for local schools, and a Silver Santa drive.
Blood Drive - Every few month we host the “Big Red Bus” and invite all who are able to donate the gift of life!
