What's Coming Up?
Back-to-School Weekend, August 8-9!
Our 2nd annual back-to-school community block party and backpack giveaway is happening on Saturday, August 8th. There will be food vendors, local resources, community partners, and free backpacks with school supplies. This year, we also have a special gift that will help your child look their best as they head back to school! Backpacks will be one per child, while supplies last.
On Sunday morning, join us at 10am as we have a backpack blessing during worship service. Students are invited to bring their school bags to service for the blessing.
Following service, there will be a brunch in the fellowship hall - join us for a fun day as we prepare for a wonderful school year!
New Gathering Class Starting August 16th-
We'll kick off the school year with a new sermon series called, “The Word,” which will challenge us to dive deeper into the Bible. In conjunction, we will be offering a 6-week book study/small group during the Gathering time on Sunday mornings. Based on Adam Hamilton's book, Making Sense of the Bible, the group will be a combination of our Foundry class and Sunday discussion group.
Sunday Small Groups
SkyKids - Kids will discover that God has invited them to be God’s people and to share the story of Jesus with the world. SkyKids meet during the Gathering time starting at 11:15 a.m. 2nd Floor Children’s Room, 206. All children are welcome
Foundry Class - Is journeying through a series entitled “Daring Faith” by Rick Warren. No book is needed for this class. All are welcome. Meet in Room 108.
Discussion Group- this group engages in open, thoughtful discussion on contemporary topics. Together we will explore how these matters shape and challenge our Christian faith today. Meet in the library. Everyone is invited.)

About Us
We are a United Methodist Church in Clearwater, Florida. Skycrest welcomes and includes people of every age, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic status, and physical and mental ability. Learn more about us here.
Children/Youth Ministries
At Skycrest, we love kids, youth, and families of all kinds. We have Nursery during our worship services and events, SkyKids for ages 4 through 5th grade, and Youth Ministry for middle school and high school students. We also have a weekday preschool for ages 2 and up! Lastly, for young adults, we offer a young adults group for fellowship!
Serving
Serving others is at the heart of who we are as a church. You’ll find us globally on mission trips, locally feeding the hungry in our community and even serving within our own church. If you have a heart of service, Skycrest is your home!
Worship
Whether you prefer modern worship songs or traditional hymns, we have a service just for you. Our Combined Worship Service includes a modern band, choir, and organ.
